During the season our snapper catches have been extremely successful from both Port Phillip Bay and Western Port and when they're hot, they're really hot. Whiting have also moved in providing customers with a variety of species to target along with bi-catches of flathead, barracouta, salmon, and tailor to name a few. Squid sessions are also on offer when in season, with delicious calamari rings the end result. Gummy sharks are regularly targeted for their line screaming runs and thumping headshakes, giving our customers a reel run for their money. Of course we cant forget to mention the annual run of elephant sharks over the Easter period, hordes of this exquisite species migrate from New Zealand once a year to Western Port in order to breed, and thus brings hundreds of keen anglers in pursuit of their excellent table quality flesh.
