Portland Tuna Fishing Charter seasons for 2017 are from May 1st to July 31st, Tuna fishing season can run from as early as February and keep going right up until October.

The main reason we target Blue Fin Tuna in May to July is the Tuna fishing is best and most accessible in Portland at these times, the Tuna make their way inshore from Port Fairy to the South Australian Border in depths of as shallow as 20 m of water.
