BOOKINGS ARE FILLING FAST FOR SNAPPER SEASON. GET IN QUICK!!!

Hi there Reeltime friends and customers,

Well, hasn't the fishing been sensational? With the gummys giving me a hard time over the past few weeks I've turned my sights on the big King George Whiting that are around and let me say they are there and they are BIG! Westernport and Sorrento turning on some hot action fish to 49cms. So far I haven't cracked the 50cm mark yet this year but it won't be long!

Also, there are big squid as a by catch while you are whiting fishing. It's even worth targeting up the top end of the port up to 2.5kg.

Have a look at the photos from the report; they are the last 5 charters Ihave done and the fishing seems to be getting better as the water gets colder. Best baits have been the usual pipis, mussels, fresh squid and pilchard fillets. Best location doesn't seem to be an issue as long as you're in clear water and not too deep you should do ok.

If you're thinking of doing a charter and you want whiting, well I would not be waiting for summer. These fish are in bigger and better numbers then anything i have ever seen in summer.
